AGE OF AGE AND NOT ONLY.

My “painted fantasy” are poor objects, to whom i asked one thing: to be very old. It all began one morning in my studio in Milan. A woman entered my office with a very big pack and she asked if i could be interested in a laundry axis, found in her mother’s basement. In those days, i had in my mind to find an old wood to make a board for personal use. Intrigued, i asked her to show me and i had a very big surprise in seeing the hidden beauty of this object. I bought the axis and i went to find others. Even now, after many years, i used to paint the remaning and it moves me in thinking of those hands before working on that wood.
