A SERIES OF PAINTINGS DEDICATED TO THOSE WHO LOVE THE SEA.

The room was big and in twilight with sailboat regatta paintings hanged on the pristine walls. The big glass door was opened and from the balcony there was fresh air and the sea odour was entering. Light linen drapes, used to swell up a lot as if an angel was blowing from the sky. After the sparkling sea, used to injure Miriam’s look, laying on her grandmother’s big bed. In that siesta hour, she used to look at sailboat regatta and she used to dream about travelling on an old sailing ship, nice pirates and unexplored lands. Miriam was 12 years old, her grandparent's house was on the sea, big and quiet, it was noisy at 12 noon, when everyone comes back from breakfast and at the table people were speaking intensively and joyfully. Sailboat regatta paintings were also there and little Miriam continued to travel by sea, to the faraway worlds.
